Service Description

The Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) Blended Training course was developed to provide an alternative way for individuals to complete the FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food course. The Blended course consists of 2 parts. Part 1 is online and Part 2 is Instructor-Led. (Part 1 will be emailed once Part 2 is booked) Both parts must be completed in order to obtain the FSPCA Participant Certificate of Training.

Cancellation Policy

Course & Cancellation Policy FSCPA PCQI Courses All FSPCA PCQI courses are held virtually by Zoom video and will require an internet connection, webcam, and microphone. A valid ID such as a driver's license, state-issued or work ID, as well as the Part 1 completion ticket or enrollment ticket must be submitted 48 hours prior to attending the course. This information will be sent to the participant's email used when registering for the course. Participants who do not submit the required items will not be eligible to attend the course but will be allowed to reschedule. Cancellation of a course within 10 business days before the course date participants will be entitled to a partial 50% refund. Cancellation within 1-5 business days before a course date participants will not be entitled to a refund. Cancellation for classes where registration has ended or an individual that did not attend the course without 24-hour prior notice will not be eligible for a refund. Broughton Food Safety reserves the right to cancel a course for the following reasons: a course with low enrollment, and other unforeseen and/or uncontrollable events. Paid participants will receive a full refund please allow 5-7 business days for processing the payment. Broughton Food Safety will not be held responsible for any omissions and errors in Food Safety Plans course materials or any other documentation developed by course participants based on the content of the material provided. Virtual course participants must comply with all requirements outlined by FSPCA and provided during registration. Virtual Live courses will be held via Zoom video, an internet connection is required courses will be recorded as required by FSPCA. Training material for virtual courses will be provided in electronic versions no hard copies will be sent to participants. Hard Copies may be purchased for an additional fee at the FSPCA bookstore. https://bookstorefspca.ifpti.org/index.php/course-materials.html ServSafe Food Protection Manager & Food Handler Policies Course & Cancellation Policy ServSafe Food Protection Manager and Food Handler course, exam and recertification exams, and proctoring must be completed in person with a Certified ServSafe Instructor and/or Proctor per National Restaurant Association guidelines. On the day of the course and exam, participants must bring a government-issued ID such as Driver’s license, state-issued ID, or work ID.
